With thanks to team member Robin Wingrove for this great explanation …
Cameron
I think I have it with the marketing/linkages. Correct me if I’m wrong but here goes.
In Google Adwords we have the following input boxes to create an ad
Headline:
Description Line 1:
Description Line 2:
Display URL:
Destination URL:
Therefore to create an ad like …
Sack your boss
Legitimate non-MLM online business
Great company with great rewards
www.blah.com
The following fields would be …
Headline: Sack your boss
Description Line 1: Legitimate non MLM online business
Description Line 2: Great company with great rewards
Display URL: www.blah.com
Destination URL: Now this is where it gets interesting as I think –
and please let me know if I’m right – that this is where the site
goes. Therefore, if I wanted to point it to the 100Millionaires
template, then the URL would look like this: www.blah.com/?site=100millionaires
This is why this text field has a far larger limit of characters
(1024) than the first with 35 chars only as we could also have the v1=
and the v2= here as well as well as the impossibly long strings that
are common these days.. Clear as mud as they say!
Therefore, by having multiple ads we can point to multiple templates
which we may or may not have edited to our choosing. And thus we have
templates that can mirror our marketing thrust to a very large degree.
Is this right?
Cheers, Robin
PS I listened to the All Access Q&A call which was at 12:00noon our
time. I even asked a question, mainly to get my name up in lights.
It wasn’t a particularly great question but I intend to attend these
types of things regularly so that I get known (even if it may be as an
idiot).

Hi Robin, yes exactly. Very good. You got it!
It’s not an easy concept. Takes quite some mental gymnastics.
cheers, Cameron.
