How to Reverse a Google Slap.

Subject: [REVISED] Instructions on How to Reverse a Google Slap.

Register Two Domains + Domain Alias + Google Slap Alias

Have you been slapped by Google?

A Google slap is common in any template driven website system.
Google’s quality filters are engineered to stop delivering traffic to
landing pages that appear to be mirroring and duplicating the content
of one central website. Here are the basic steps to getting your ads
back on Google’s ad network after a slap:

1. Verify your campaigns have been slapped, and that the decrease in
traffic is not related to a poor quality score. A Google Slap is
unique in the fact that your traffic drops off significantly in a
short period of time (usually overnight or within a 48 hr. period) and
your impressions flatline to zero.

*If your traffic has decreased significantly, but your account still
shows impressions and clicks, this is likely due to a poor quality
score not a slap.

2. Register two domain names. One domain name will be used as your new
website address – Domain Alias (register a .com or .net), the other
will be used to host your website files – Google Slap Alias (register
the .net, .info, or .biz extension of the same domain) to replace the
CC Pro URL’s in your source code.

*Once your landing page has been slapped by Google the domain name
should not be used in a Google campaign again, it’s possible the ad
bots will recognize your flagged URL and stop delivering traffic. It
is not necessary to change your Primary Domain Name in your CC Pro
back office.

3. Set up your Domain Alias in your CC Pro back office. Log into your
Carbon Copy Pro back office >> Select Setup >> Select Domain >> Select
Domain Alias. Follow the instructions to set up a Domain Alias for
your (.com or .net) domain name.

4. Set up a Google Slap Alias in your CC Pro back office. Log into
your Carbon Copy Pro back office >> Select Setup >> Select Domain >>
Select Google Slap Alias. Follow the instructions to set up a Google
Slap Alias for your (.net, .biz, or .info) domain name.

5. Update your profile in The Ranch Member’s Area by replacing the
slapped domain name/URL with your new CC Pro Domain Alias.

6a. *If you are a new Gold Rush member and your Google Gold campaigns
were never activated by Google due to a slap, once the new aliased
landing page is active submit a support ticket in The Ranch Members
Area with the subject line: Slapped Domain Updated. We’ll replace the
slapped domain name with the new aliased domain name within 48 hrs.
and send you a confirmation email.

6b. *If you are an advanced marketer with custom campaigns across
multiple providers, replace the old slapped domain name in your ads
with the new aliased domain name using Gold Miner’s Mass Editor.
